The price is somewhere in the middle, and the hotel has plenty nearby: a shopping centre with restaurants on the fourth floor, several supermarkets for ready-to-eat food, and Konbini's within easy walking distance for late-night snacks. It's also close to an airport limousine bus stop and a train station, with Umeda about 10 minutes away. This isn't a five-star hotel, so look elsewhere if that's what you want. For those conveniences, though, it works well.

The food was plenty for what it cost, and I loved the place. The beer garden had a great selection too, with Asahi, Kirin, Stout, and even Italian Peroni, not just one kind of beer. OMG.

I had a wonderful stay at hotel Vischio Amagasaki. The location is superb, just a short walk from both the bus terminal and the railway station.

The location is great, within walking distance of the mall and train station. It feels like an older hotel, but it's clean and fairly well kept, and the rooms are comfortable. The staff are really friendly. By reception there's a free stand of amenities to choose from, with all sorts of useful things, including makeup remover, creams, and hair clips for ladies. The bathroom has a bathtub too, which was lovely for a soak. I picked up bath salt from the stand.

It's in a residential area, but very convenient, with a mall and lots of restaurants right next door. The JR station is only a five-minute walk away.
