I had a really pleasant stay in the new annex. The room was modern and comfortable, and it was so relaxing to lie in bed with coffee and look outside. There were Christmas decorations all over, fitting the hotel's Santa Clause theme. The staff were kind and helpful, and they spoke English.

The food was delicious, and my room was clean. I really enjoyed the sauna and onsen too, which were both very clean. The staff were polite.

Amakusa has a clean, pleasant hotel with a Christmas 🎅🎄 theme. It's fun for kids, who can get a bit of Christmas cheer at any time of year 😆. It's beside the river and a little far from the center, but works well for a couple of quiet nights.

The name is a little strange, but the hotel itself was nice. My room was especially large for Japan, and there was plenty of parking on site. I enjoyed staying here.
