Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Kyobashi

I stayed here twice during my current Tokyo visit, first for four nights and then for seven. The staff were consistently polite, and the location worked well, with two stations, convenience stores, and breakfast places within walking distance. The coin laundry and dryers were useful. My room's air conditioner/heater was noisy, though, and once housekeeping left fresh towels with a long strand of hair on them. It's a small hotel, but housekeeping could improve.

The room could be larger, but the service and location make the size understandable. English-speaking receptionists, a money changer, and coin laundry are available. You can also pick up lots of complimentary items, including bath powder, lotion, tea bags, and face masks. One odd annoyance is that the elevator always stops at the second-floor lobby. The location is great, with convenience stores everywhere and easy access to different stations, including Tokyo Station. A good option for travelers.

The tap water has an odd taste. In Osaka, some hotels provide filtered water on each floor and it tastes much better, so I hope this place will consider doing that too. Still, I liked the hotel, and it's a good place to stay in Tokyo.

For two adults, the room had enough space, and we could lay out both of our large suitcases fully. Breakfast was a nice extra, with four sets to choose from each morning. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was handy to have coin-operated laundry. This was our first stay here, and the location made getting around simple. Tokyo Station is a short walk away, Kyobashi Station is very close, and there are plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. The bus terminal also makes it convenient to catch a bus to Gotemba Premium Outlets or an express bus to Narita Airport.
