I had a good stay overall, and the area felt safe to me as a woman traveling alone. Still, the streets are dark and there are love hotels around, so that might feel uncomfortable if those things make you nervous. The room had quite a bit of space, with a private section for each person, and towels, soap, and shampoo were provided. The train noise shook the bed and made it hard to fall and stay asleep. Some people also talked loudly on their phones at night, which felt disrespectful. If they need to make a call, they could go outside.

A great-value place for active travelers who mainly need somewhere to sleep and shower. I booked online and checked in within 90 minutes, even though it was after hours. The hostel was kept neat and clean, though I imagine that depends partly on how considerate the other guests are.

I’m writing this at 4 a.m. because I can’t sleep. Every passing train makes a huge noise and shakes the bed. The pillow and mattress are extremely flat and stiff, and the bathroom is incredibly small. The sink is right by the front desk, so anyone walking in can see you in pajamas while you dry your hair. The hostel is in a strange spot, with love hotels everywhere and dark streets around it. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially to women. Have the people running this place ever tried sleeping in these beds?
