The breakfast was tasty and good value, and my room was basically clean and fine, apart from a few tiny spots. It was an old room, but the desk and lamp made it workable when I needed to get some work done. I was there partly for business at a nearby university in Minami Osawa, where there weren’t any hotels. Chofu station was the closest, and the area has plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel occupies floors 8-10 of the Parco shopping center, with useful shops, restaurants and a supermarket. You can take an elevator from there straight to your room on the 9th or 10th floor. Getting around inside the building could take a while. You can’t use the stairs to reach the front desk on the 8th floor, only the elevator, and it’s shared with the whole building, so it can be slow during business hours. The soundproofing was poor too. I could hear hallway noise, including staff making noise around 6:30 a.m. that disturbed my sleep.

The room had a nice view, and the staff were very kind and polite. I also loved the rose left in the room on the first day. The location was convenient. There’s no air conditioning in the room, only an air moisturizer, and you have to buy water at the front desk. The elevator is shared with Parco shoppers, so getting from the 9th floor to the 8th took me five minutes. Since it’s the only way out of the hotel, the place felt claustrophobic.

The staff are friendly, but the WiFi is awful. The internet connection is really bad. Could management fix it?

Great views, comfortable beds and a good breakfast. There wasn’t a wardrobe, or maybe it was an open one.
