The room's decor looked dated, but the kaiseki dinner and breakfast more than made up for it. Both meals we had were delicious. If we come to Amakusa again, we'll definitely stay here for the food.

We were upgraded for free to the newer building. Our ocean-facing room had lovely views of the water and sunset, and the indoor onsen was relaxing and not crowded. The course dinner, including lobster and sashimi, was delicious, and the service was very polite.

From the balcony, we could enjoy a beautiful sunset and sea view, and the onsen was good. Most of the staff didn't speak English, but the service was still very good and we enjoyed our stay.
