I paid 10,000 yen a night for the second-lowest rated room. The room was neither especially clean nor especially dirty. There were snacks, welcome drinks, and shampoo rentals by the first-floor entrance, which was nice, though I had my hands full and wished there were a basket. It would also help to say where the shampoo should be left, since that seems to depend on the salon. The sink and toilet lighting was too dim. Maybe it was meant to set a mood, but brighter, more practical light would be better for shaving and putting on makeup. The hair dryer felt very old. It doesn’t need to be a fancy Refa, just a newer regular one, and having to press a button for cold air is inconvenient.

I can’t recommend this place. I’ve encountered damage to several room items more than once, including the phone charger, sofa, Jacuzzi, bathroom TV, and toilet bidet. When I reported the broken bidet, staff asked me to change rooms. I did, since I needed help using the toilet, but the bidet in the next room was broken too. I was worn out by then and didn’t report it again, just put up with it. If you stay here, bring your own phone charger and everything else you might need. Things can break, but repairs should be made before the next guest, so please fix them promptly.

The food was really good, especially the pancakes. The menu had plenty of choices, and they offered free pajama rentals in a size that fit men. I booked an F-type room, 905, through Happy Hotel and saved ¥1,610 off the official rate, before extra charges. Phone service was excellent, and prepaid room access meant I could go out. There wasn’t much nearby, but Route 1 was the main street, with a Don Quijote and a restaurant. Nothing else in particular stood out, but I’d stay again if I had the chance.

The room was roomy and clean, and coupons made the price pretty reasonable. Depending on the room, you can order meals and a vibrator 24 hours a day, and there’s a 4-hour break. The only drawback is the walk, about 17 minutes from Meitetsu Go-no-san Station.
