Business Hotel Asuka

I know you get what you pay for, but what is a guest supposed to do in a dry room in winter with no humidifier? They might leave the hot shower running or keep the kettle on. I'm not saying I did either of those things, but in the end the hotel would be the one losing out.

I paid 6,650 yen for a room only through Rakuten. It's in a residential area, quite far from downtown, with a 7-Eleven nearby. Getting there by bus and then on foot would be difficult. There's a restaurant on the first floor, but nobody explained that at check-in. There's no shower toilet, and the shampoo and soap don't lather. If you're trying to keep lodging costs down, I'd recommend it.

The room had very few amenities and no washlet. Since I only used it for sleeping, that was fine.

The room was clean, and the mattress, futon, and comforter made for just the right bedding in cold weather. The comforter was very soft, so I rested comfortably. Free parking is a great perk, though it would be even better if the room toilet had a bidet. I finished work late and was held up by heavy snow, so I couldn't get in touch and arrived late for check-in. The woman at the front desk was very polite and helpful. If you don't mind a few minor details, it's a relaxing place to stay.
