The staff were really friendly. When I mentioned the bathroom faucet was a little stiff, someone came over right away after I read the notice at the front desk. The room was clean, and although there’s no closet, the hangers are near the air conditioner, which I think helps with humidity. The location is great too, close to the station and easy to find. I had a meeting, so I couldn’t try the coffee or breakfast this time. I’d like to stay again.

You can hear people talking through the thin walls, and it gets pretty loud. The facilities are clearly old. The bath faucet isn’t a single lever, and getting the temperature right is quite finicky. 😓 It’s frustrating because replacing that faucet alone would make it easier to use and might improve guest reviews. If noise like talking or snoring from the next room bothers you, this place probably won’t suit you.
There are some nice touches here: polite receptionists, massage chairs on every floor, free parking on a first come, first served basis, and a 24 hour takeaway drink corner for your room. The second lot brings the total to 14 parking spaces. Breakfast’s nameko mushroom miso soup is delicious, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The walls are the big problem. You can hear everything, even a neighbor talking to themselves or hangers clacking. Parking is a bit of a mess too. Kei and compact cars used the standard spaces, leaving larger cars in smaller ones, and the first lot was full by 7:30 PM. Aside from the noise, it’s a nice, affordable hotel. Quiet neighbors make it fine, but noisy ones make it rough.
The breakfast buffet lists seven specific ingredients, which stood out to me enough to write this review. I have multiple allergies, and that kind of labeling is still rare at hotels, so I could stay with peace of mind. The building itself is old, but the room felt relaxing and was spotless. I could hear the person next door snoring lightly through the thin walls, which was the one thing that bothered me. Still, I thought the value for money was excellent.
For around 7,000 yen, getting a hotel with breakfast included is hard to find these days. The free coffee is unlimited, and there are massage chairs on every floor, both nice extras. Lots of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, too. My only gripe is the unit bathroom showerhead. It spreads the water so wide that it doesn’t reach the middle, so it barely feels like you’re taking a shower.
