Akizuki Spa Ryokan Seiryuan

The town doesn't have much in the way of facilities, which makes it a good spot for a quiet break. I booked Ayame and loved the room as soon as I checked in. The host was warm and attentive, and the traditional Japanese meals were delicious. We had a fantastic stay.

The care from the staff made our night at Akizuki Onsen Seiryuan unforgettable. A special thank you to Mr. Koushirou Hiraki for all his help and kindness. When we checked out, they had even printed directions to our next stop, the Attack on Titan statues at Oyama Dam. We stayed in the Sakura(Sakura) room for one night. The package included a private breakfast, a 13-course private dinner, and feeding the koi. Dinner arrived one dish at a time, and everything looked beautiful and smelled lovely. You could tell the chef put a lot of care into each course. At breakfast, they gave us a photo from dinner with Sailor Moon images added. They'd noticed my Sailor Moon passport case, and that little surprise made me so happy. After eating, they took us to feed the Japanese Koi at the pond. We had an amazing time.

The grounds and our room were both stunning, and our family felt very well cared for. Staff were happy to communicate with the relatives who didn't speak Japanese so they could feel welcome. They also handled our dietary needs really well at both dinner and breakfast, and the meals were amazing. The room, food, ryokan, and service were all sincerely amazing. I can't praise Seiryuan highly enough.

Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, and the welcome was so warm. We loved the beautiful, comfortable rooms and delicious food, along with the exceptional hospitality. It was a wonderful stay, and we'd happily return and recommend the place.
