Booked through Airbnb and was really happy with the place. It felt huge, almost like a little resort, and was spotless. The owner had supplied everything needed to use the amenities, from laundry detergent and Wi-Fi to BBQ utensils and toilet air freshener. The furnishings were great too. :)

It has a distinctly Japanese feel and comes with nearly everything you might need. There’s a full kitchen, a bathroom, and even a washer and dryer.

The host was really friendly, and the place was clean, quiet, and well cared for. I visited in winter and found it a little cold, but I was still comfortable. There’s a convenience store and a family restaurant nearby, and they gave me a voucher for tea that I could swap for coffee at the store. Roosters and the village announcement woke me early, though earplugs made it fine.
