On my second visit, it was just as great as the first. I tried horse riding this time and had an awesome time. I’d definitely recommend it. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and both meals were amazing, especially the BBQ. My room was clean and modern, with a beautiful view. I also loved being able to book the private onsen for an hour. If I’m back in Aso-Kuju, I’ll stay here again.

For a relaxed, wholesome horseback ride, this is a great place. The staff are lovely and accommodating, the rooms are cozy and clean, and the food is tasty. The sweeping 360 field views are breathtaking, and you’re right in the middle of a national park. You’ll love it.

We stayed one night and had two meals. It’s a lovely, elegant, clean hotel, and the staff were helpful. Waking up to that stunning view was wonderful. A real hidden gem in Aso.

El Patio Ranch has unmatched views and offers a unique stay, with horseback riding and hearty dinners. The staff were incredibly kind. I especially appreciated how carefully they kept me informed about winter driving conditions and checked for weather changes throughout my stay.
