The facilities are really nice and there's plenty of privacy. Getting there involves a walk, and check-in is a little tricky.

The walls are so thin you can hear every conversation, and the toilets are shared. Check-in policies are unclear, with rules that seem made up to make refunds impossible. There are also a lot of unreasonable extra charges: towels, onsen use per person, yukata, toiletries, and more. When we complained to the staff, they threatened to call the police. Read the reviews carefully and take them seriously. Avoid this place at all costs.

The garden could use attention. Plants were overgrown, the space wasn't looked after, and mosquitoes seemed more likely to breed there. It also made the view a bit ugly. Still, the price was fair for what you get. The exterior looks old and rundown, but the kitchens and bathrooms have been renovated. The onsen was very nice, and there’s a shared living room with a large TV. The location is quite good.

I booked by accident and tried to cancel, but they wouldn't let me, so I had to stay. It turned out to be a comfortable place, with a cute room, conditioner, a little kitchen for cooking, and a nice bathroom. The old Japanese mansion has a beautiful garden and ocean view. The hot spring bath costs 300 yen per person. Towels and yukatas can be rented for 100-500 yen, and the washing machine costs 200 yen. There are some downsides. You can hear every word from neighboring rooms unless people whisper. The staff hardly ever seem to be around and don't speak English. There isn't a proper security system, so anyone can enter the building at any time, and the windows don't lock.
