Our room's private onsen was great, and the meals were a feast. We had a wonderful time at Shin Kado Ya, and they kindly accommodated my dietary needs at both dinner and breakfast.

Shin Kado Ya Ryokan is the best place I've stayed in for a long time. The room was big, the views were lovely, and our dinner was incredible. The people working at Shin Kado Ya were even better than the place itself. I hope to go back.

It really feels like staying in a Japanese home, with tatami mats, sliding doors, and futon beds that were so comfortable. We loved the private onsen, with a great view over the sea and part of the city below. The room was quiet, clean, and private, and all the bath amenities were carefully set out. The toilet and bathtub were great too, and I loved the Shiseido toiletries. Having a hot bath in the evening with the city lights and full moon in view was beautiful. Such an amazing experience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

I stayed here for a week as a tourist in Japan and was so happy with it. The indoor hot spring was fabulous. It was an amazing week, one of the best I've ever had, and I still remember it.

A lovely Ryokan with a long history in Atami. The tatami rooms are gorgeous, and the kaiseki meals were delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. A great stay for a traditional experience, and I'm grateful for their hospitality.
