We booked a weekday night through Rakuten Travel for seven adults and one infant. The total was ¥80,000 including tax, which worked out to ¥11,428 per adult when split seven ways. The price may seem a little high for a room-only stay, but having the whole building to yourselves could suit families with young children who want to relax. There’s rooftop BBQ, a sauna with löyly, and a cold plunge pool, and the seaside location is excellent. The many lights make it bright at night. There are three bedrooms on the first floor. One, or possibly two, have fully level floors, while the others are slightly raised, which gives families with infants or toddlers an option for sleeping. The pillows are quite high, so bring your own if you prefer a lower one. Since the building is beside a road, traffic can be heard at night, and light sleepers may want earplugs. The sauna takes about an hour and a half to reach its set temperature. Even with the outdoor setting at 100℃, the inside stayed around 80℃, perhaps because the door doesn’t seal completely and people were going in and out. If you want to use it at sunrise, you might want to switch it on before bed. The place felt clean and tidy overall, but there was a lot of dust on the second-floor living room AC, so I cleaned it myself. I was also concerned about the bathroom exhaust fan. The kitchen knives were very dull, and the frying pan and hot plate stuck because the Teflon was peeling. The rice cooker and rooftop BBQ grill were fine. The dishwashing sponge had already been used, so a new one would have felt more hygienic. I’d bring a knife, kitchen paper, a new sponge, and either a frying pan or hot plate of my own, or non-stick foil to line the pan. The TV had paid services like Netflix and Disney+, but the settings were in English. I couldn’t get foreign shows to play with Japanese dubbing, even after trying different remote functions, so I watched Japanese content only. The rooftop sauna is completely visible from outside, so wear a swimsuit if you use it. A pillow and earplugs may also be useful. Towels, toothbrush sets, clipped hangers, two hair dryers, two hair straighteners, hand soap, and tissues are provided, with a tissue box in each room. The kitchen has cutlery, tongs, a rice paddle, spatula, wine opener, kitchen scissors, plates, cups, mugs, knife, cutting board, colander, pot, frying pan, tray, plastic wrap, sponge, and dish soap. There’s also a microwave, toaster, electric kettle, rice cooker, and refrigerator/freezer. Toilets are on both floors. Upstairs there’s a shower room and a bath, with POLA shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Check-in is from 4 PM, and entry isn’t allowed even one minute early. Although the listing says there are two parking spaces, I thought three cars could fit. Traffic can make it a little difficult to enter or leave at certain times. The slope from the parking lot to the entrance is quite steep, so several people may need to help if you’re using a wheelchair or stroller.
