Wellis Villa HANARE

We came as four friends for a girls' night out. There were two beds, and futons were provided for the other two of us, so we all slept comfortably. We brought our own food and wine and spent a luxurious evening looking out at the ocean. The location felt special and was easy to reach, just across the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.

The villa's clean architecture, furniture, and layout had me imagining what kind of house I'd want to build someday. I especially loved the bedside lighting. And I'll remember the fluffy towels, which felt so kind on my skin that I felt gentler myself. The view from the room was amazing, and the children were delighted too. We made breakfast by mixing hamburger patties together and cooking them on a griddle. In the morning, we were collecting stag beetles at the entrance. Thank you very much. Since the villa is in the north of Awaji Island and up on a mountain away from the sea, I wondered whether the town had experienced an earthquake in the past. I don't know the area, so the uphill drive and narrow roads made me a little nervous, though it was a new experience. The place itself is stunning and feels open and free. I'm sure a great designer came up with it.

The view was lovely. I got flustered because I couldn't figure out how to use the bath.
