Getting a taxi was easy ✌️

Breakfast is served as a buffet in the stylish first-floor lobby, with about 30 seats, so finding a place to sit wasn’t a problem. There’s also a seafood restaurant beside the entrance where you can have dinner. The hotel is right in front of Ayabe Station, yet it offers the handy perk of free parking. My room was clean, and although Ayabe Station was visible from the window, I couldn’t hear the trains at all.

The breakfast buffet was quite filling. It’s right by the station, which is very convenient. The building and facilities are a little dated, but they have what you need.

I’m a regular here and plan to keep staying. The beds and pillows are comfortable to me. I usually book a single room, which has a unit bath. I don’t think there’s a large communal bath. The rooms are like a clean, ordinary business hotel, even though Ayabe City is probably on the rural side. Since I drive an electric car, I especially appreciate being able to charge it to 100% by morning for 550 yen. Bikes are free to borrow, which is handy for nearby shopping or a meal. In snowy weather, they also lend car snow removers at no charge, so you can manage even if you didn’t bring your own. It seems they have my phone number on file, and I like that they use my last name when I call.
