I really liked the sea view from the balcony, and the price felt worthwhile. My Japanese-style room had a futon, shower, and air conditioning, and it was clean and neat. I arrived around 6 pm for a one-night stay and was welcomed by very nice staff. There was a good variety at breakfast. The seaweed soup with fish balls was my favorite, and the fried chicken was great too. The hotel is near the department store and not far from Donki. Love it!

The rooms were roomy and comfortable, with very fluffy futons, and breakfast was a great buffet. Staff were kind and helpful, and the price was surprisingly low. It’s close to JR Beppu station, a large mall, and some local restaurants. There’s a small red light district behind the hotel, so families should stick to the main roads. I’ll definitely stay again when I’m back in Beppu.

Koji was so patient and attentive when we checked in. My elderly parents needed a room with a private bathroom and toilet, and he helped us switch rooms with a discounted upgrade. He also suggested some good places to eat nearby. The rooms we booked were spacious, and breakfast had a good spread.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was better than I expected, but the room was in awful shape. There was mold by the sink, dirty air-conditioning vents and window ledges, and the toilet flooring was coming loose. I spent one night in a Japanese-style tatami room. This is one of the worst Japanese hotels I’ve stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Breakfast was delightful, and there’s a lovely onsen on the 6th floor. The room was spacious with traditional decor. I stayed two nights, and the location made getting around easy, right by Tokiwa Department Store, Yume Town, and Oita Bus Station.
