It has the charm of a traditional, long-running inn. The nearby coffee shop serves delicious food too, and has a nice, homey feel.

I called on the day and got a room, which saved me from camping in the rain during my motorcycle trip. The place is very Showa era and has no style at all, but if that kind of atmosphere feels relaxing to you, it's fine. They can park your motorcycle in a shuttered, warehouse-like space, though it only holds two bikes, so keep that in mind.
The landlady is very friendly, and they let you leave a motorcycle or bicycle in the garage. The toilet has a washlet, while the rest has a fairly typical Showa-era feel. This inn seems mostly set up for men, and women should avoid it in summer. The ventilation is poor, which seems common at inns in Hokkaido, so male guests apparently open the door to get more air. There's a fan, but it gets too stuffy to keep the door shut until night. Is there a restaurant where you can eat?
It feels like the good old days are still here.
The bathroom has mold, and the futon is dusty.
