The owner was incredibly kind. He drove us to the station and even helped us figure out the best train times. The sea view right at the entrance is stunning, and you can stargaze at night or watch the sunrise from your room in the morning. Highly recommended!

The calm view of the Seto Inland Sea and mountains from our Japanese-style room on the second floor helped me settle. I came with my newborn son for a change of pace, five months after giving birth, when I was feeling down even at home. We had a delicious sashimi set meal for dinner, and the owner and other guests were very warm toward us. They all have experience raising children. I’d like to come back during oyster season.

The pension sits in a lovely spot where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the Seto Inland Sea. We picked mandarins in season, and they were very sweet. The sunrise from our guest room was beautiful too. The owners are a married couple who’ve been running the place for less than a year, and they have a very nice atmosphere. It’s a great place to experience something out of the ordinary, and I’d like to return in another season. Take care driving on the way there.

The couple running the pension really impressed us. They listened to guests’ opinions and want to make the place even better. The building is 40 years old, so some parts feel old-fashioned, but it’s been renovated with style and we were comfortable. We came as a couple and had separate meals. The beef sukiyaki and sashimi were both excellent, and the rice from their contracted farm was delicious. The soup and chawanmushi were seasoned just right. We were looking for somewhere relaxing in nature and had a wonderful time: picking tangerines on the grounds, seeing goats and rabbits, taking steep paths down to the sandy beach, and even operating heavy machinery before the rain started. We’d love to return to see the blue sky meet the sea! ⭐︎

The goats and wild rabbits on the grounds were adorable, and the rooms were clean. We also enjoyed delicious food and a spectacular view from the window. The owner couple were so welcoming that we had a really relaxing stay.
