Condominium Hotel Monpa

The beach is just one building away, and the view is beautiful. With two restaurants downstairs and American Village right next door, we found the location great for the price. The staff were helpful and very nice, and I'd happily stay again. We spent five days here with our baby. The room had two nice sized beds, which we pushed together into one big bed. Cribs are available to rent. Parking is limited and first come, first served, but it wasn't too bad. We asked at the front desk for other options and got a map. The other parking is an easy walk away by the Aeon mall. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body wash towels, toothbrushes, hair brushes, a blow dryer, and cups. The little kitchen area included a microwave, mini fridge with a very small freezer, heating plate in place of a stove, and a decent sized sink. They provided dish soap and a sponge, and replaced the sponge when our room was cleaned midweek. There was also a hot water pot by the mirror on the desk. The Aeon mall has a huge grocery section, and anything you forgot could be bought there. Washers and dryers are on floors 5, 7, and 9. The stackable washer dryer costs ¥100-¥200 yen. The other one costs more and doesn't work as well, especially for drying. The room had a small laundry basket for carrying clothes and free detergent, but no fabric softener. There was one room key, which you put into a wall slot to turn on the power. The AC stayed on even without it, which was nice in the summer. The dehumidifier needed emptying maybe 1-2 times a day.

The building faces the beach, so you can see a beautiful sunset and sea view. The room was spacious and clean, and the Japanese styles bath room seemed new. There isn't parking at the hotel, though. You have to use the public car park opposite the AOEN.

The room was spacious and scenic, with a balcony and mini kitchen. Housekeeping isn't done daily, though you can get towel changes at the ground/first floor reception. Parking at the hotel is limited, but there are open air lots opposite and in the nearby Aeon compound.

I've stayed here before and may choose it again. The location and service are good, but parking is insufficient and inconvenient. The nightly rate was a bit higher than during my last stay in the same October period. There was a construction site beside the building, between the hotel and beach. The website said the work would last until December 2017. They didn't provide information about what the new building might mean, so I'm only assuming it could block the sea view from the lower floors.
