Parking was easy, and there are nearby places to walk, including along the seaside embankment. The bathroom was clean and the toilet was roomy, which were definite pluses. There’s a kitchen, but since it’s a guesthouse, don’t expect basics like salad oil, salt, or soy sauce. Buy those before you check in. The room has one double bed and two double beds, similar to double beds, and room for luggage.

Finding the place with the car navigation was a hassle. I eventually got there using my phone. The room itself was cozy and spacious, with handy parking downstairs, but there’s no elevator. The stairs are so narrow only one person can use them at a time, and hauling luggage to the third floor was tiring. There are bakeries and restaurants nearby, plus a post office if you need stamps, though the convenience store is quite a walk away. American Village and Aeon Mall are an easy drive. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with all the appliances you need. The shower temperature was hard to adjust, and sound carries badly, so we could hear all sorts of noises from upstairs. The bed and sofa weren’t very comfortable to sleep on either.

We were three people staying for three nights, with a double bed for each of us, and we slept really well. There’s plenty of space, and Miyagi Beach and Donmu Ramen are within walking distance. Lots of cafes, American restaurants, and bars are close by, so I’d definitely come back to this guesthouse. The narrow stairs made moving suitcases awkward, and the pillows were a bit flat 😅. If you’re after lively shopping areas, this probably isn’t the place for you. You need a car to get to convenience stores and supermarkets.

My skin felt smooth and looked whiter afterward. It was really good!
