I found this place awful, and can't understand why it gets such a good reputation in military chats. The rooms were moldy and smelled funky. There was an old hole in the wall covered with wallpaper, and that area was moldy too. Wallpaper was peeling in several spots, and the water was brown, so don't drink it. The beds were pieced together rather than standard hotel beds, and one of ours was basically a cot. Maybe they allow pets. I'd only stay here as a last resort.

I called twice to reserve and cancel, and they were patient every time. The customer service was kind and great. I wish I could book a room with them! :0)

The front desk lady and cleaning crew were all really nice, and there are a few restaurants close by. The location isn't bad, and our stay was pleasant. The rooms do feel a bit dated, especially from the wallpaper and oven.

The suites had plenty of space, which was helpful with all our luggage and a large dog kennel. We really enjoyed staying here while waiting to PCS. There's a well-kept area for walking dogs and a laundry room on the second floor.

After two weeks at Navy Gateway at Kadena, we moved here because NG was renovating. Eagle Lodge turned out to be much bigger. Our 3 bedroom apartment had a full kitchen and was very well supplied: a full set of pans, dog bowls, dish towels, a sponge, and dish soap. The bathroom also had large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There was ice cold a/c, plenty of closet and dresser space in the bedrooms, an outdoor play area for kids, and a dog run. It's conveniently next to one of the area's top vets/pet stores, Vet 22.
