The location made this a handy last minute booking. American Village is about a five minute drive, and there’s a Family mart and Lawsons just around the corner. The staff were kind and spoke English, which helped. My double room had one full size bed and was clean and nice. I couldn't quite figure out the air conditioning. I also ended up in two different rooms on consecutive days because I messed up my plans. The second room had no warm or hot water. It was disappointing since I wanted a warm bath, even though I know it's hot and humid this time of year.

The room is small, but had all the basics we needed. We stayed three nights and there was no room cleaning. Staff were friendly, and although they only spoke a little English, Google Translate worked fine. American Village is just a few minutes away on foot. Breakfast is available to guests from 8 to 11, either to eat there or take away.

For the price, the room was good, and it's close to American Village and the bus stops. The shower was modern, and there was a small kitchenette. Pots, pans, and utensils can be rented for 1000¥. The breakfast was nice too, served in a cute Cafe next door under the other Mr.Kinjo. The pictures are of the cafe. There were some annoyances. The washer was useful, but there was no drying rod and nearly all the laundry hangers were broken. The AC blew straight onto the bed all night, and the sink was outside the bathroom. The elevator also smelled strongly of mold.

At ¥8000 for one night, including the extra ¥1000 parking charge, this was definitely not worth it. The corner room was uncomfortable for sleeping because the wall was so thin I could hear water dripping outside all night. It was also pretty dirty. There was dust on the floor and around the TV, the shower room was wet, and I found a used face mask behind the refrigerator.

The room was tiny, and nothing like the photos. The TV was small, there was just one chair, and the place smelled like smoke despite being non-smoking. You also have to pay for parking every night. It was horrible, and doesn't feel like a 4 star hotel.
