A clean, spacious place with an outdoor area. I'd book it again on my next Okinawa trip.

The road outside is busy, so it may not suit anyone who wants a quiet setting. My friend and I still found the place comfortable: not huge, but spacious enough to relax, with a big sofa and bed. The kitchen has a microwave, kettle, dishes, and glasses, so you can cook. The bathroom and toilet were clean, and I liked having a bathtub. The staff were friendly, and nothing about the stay bothered me 😊
The WiFi worked well, and in the middle of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic it was nice to stay somewhere without running into lots of other families or groups. I could relax, and the lodge setup was an interesting experience, even with some inconveniences. A shared-area trash collection box, towel exchange service, vacuum cleaners in each lodge, and improved dryers would make it more comfortable. We came as a couple with our two elementary school-aged daughters, on our fourth trip to Okinawa. Because of the pandemic we wanted a small lodge-type place, and chose this one for its high online ratings. From a housewife's point of view, though, it wasn't that great overall. Chatan was convenient: we'd previously stayed at Alivila or Renaissance, and this location let us reach the accommodation from the airport in 30 minutes. Parco City in Urasoe, which opened in 2019, was also about a 15-minute drive away. Its stores, cleanliness, and newness were excellent, much better than Rycom Aeon or American Village. The parking lot was tiny. We first rented a Hiace, but there was no way to park it, so we switched to a VOXY and still scraped the bumper. I usually drive a hatchback about 100km a day for my commute, so I'm fairly capable behind the wheel. There were three lodges, and perhaps because of COVID-19, no other guests. I couldn't help wishing they'd put us in the lodge with the easiest parking. There was only one caretaker. I think we could have asked for towel changes and garbage collection, but the caretaker was away during our stay, so it was hard to ask. Our room wasn't cleaned either. After three nights and four days, by the third day I was bothered by hair and other debris and ended up washing my own towels. I expected the washer and dryer to be in the lodge, but they were in a small hut-like building used by the caretaker, so they were shared. A wash cost 300 yen, with OxyClean detergent dispensed automatically. The dryer was 100 yen for 30 minutes and was terrible. Its filter was completely clogged; even after I cleaned it, it seemed to be an electric dryer and didn't dry anything after 90 minutes. I gave up and took our clothes to the nearby laundromat, Futon Maki no Jiro. It had several large, sturdy gas dryers, and the large one dried the clothes thoroughly and comfortably in 27 minutes for 300 yen. Count on being able to wash clothes at the lodge, but not dry them.
I wasn't sure what to expect inside a trailer house, but it was really nice and clean. The deep layout made it feel so open. I was glad the bathroom was clean, too. The staff were very polite, and I'd love to stay again. Highly recommend it!
Don't book this place. I reserved through Agoda and arrived completely disappointed. There were only three accommodation containers, and all were occupied on the day I'd booked. Neither Agoda nor the pension owner answered the phone. After I emailed several times, they told me to go to a villa called PORT11 at another address for a special room. When I got there, they wouldn't contact me, and the door wouldn't open. I was so angry. In the end I booked another nearby hotel, and a few days after I returned from the trip, they canceled my card. Green Lodge sent my group all over Okinawa, and I don't think anyone should use a company like that. I hate Agoda, and Green Lodge was the worst. Staying there would have been awful. I still get angry thinking about being stuck sweating in the narrow entrance of that flimsy container, with mosquitoes around me. I wasted three short, precious nights and plan to demand compensation. I don't want to give even one star, but the post won't upload unless I do.
