We booked three nights in a superior twin. The room was quite spacious but dark, with little natural light. The bed was a good size and comfortable, with a nice light, warm duvet. There were two differently shaped pillows, one memory foam. The toilet had an old-fashioned design, with a Washlet seat fitted on top of an old, low-flush toilet. The shower pressure was good, but I didn’t care for the mist shower head. Laundry is on the 4th and 8th floors. As of April 2024, washing cost 300JPN and the dryer was 100JPN per 30 minutes. The ceilings are very thin. Noisy guests right above us meant I had to call reception and ask them to quiet down. The weekend room-only rates felt overpriced: we paid more than double the weekday rate for Friday and three times as much on Saturday. The service was very friendly and helpful. We hired bicycles, and staff kindly picked a spot for us to lock them in front of a CCTV camera. The station is a couple of minutes away on foot, with some restaurants nearby.

The station is just a few minutes away on foot, which is handy. The toilet felt cramped and old, and there were white stains on the basins and around the soap bottles. Also, I learned that some restaurants will ask you to leave at closing even if you haven’t finished the food on your plate. 😐 Lesson learned. 😐

For the price, this was a great deal. The rooms were clean, service was excellent, and we enjoyed breakfast. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the subway station is super close. We definitely recommend the nearby ramen restaurant.

There wasn’t an air conditioner, and I was told to open the windows, but it was very noisy. No bottled water was provided in the room. Also, you can’t use the tap and shower water at the same time.
