Hotel Plaza Nanohana

I stayed here while attending a technical manager training course. The location made getting around easy: the prefectural government office and Kencho-mae Station on the Chiba Urban Monorail are right nearby, and JR Hon-Chiba Station is about a five-minute walk away.

The location was quiet and close to the station. I expected the carpet to be filthy after reading other reviews, so I let that go. But the bedside lamp was badly worn and tattered, and that really bothered me. The whole room looked as though it hadn't been used in years, so I couldn't understand why they were putting guests in it. It was a twin room, yet one bed was only a metal frame with a moldy futon on it. Is that room usually left unused? Was there some kind of issue with it?

Getting to Makuhari Messe and Disney Resort was surprisingly easy. The hotel itself is quite old, but the room had plenty of space and felt comfortable, with thoughtful touches like an outlet right by the pillow.

The rooms and facilities are dated, but they were clean and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. Kencho-mae Station on the Chiba City Monorail is right next door. JR is a bit of a walk, but it's still a great location.
