February 2026: We stayed here for a Japanese idol concert at Lala arena tokyo bay. The room was decent, with enough room for two medium suitcases, and the bathroom was clean. The pillow was too thin, and they only provided one per bed. The blanket felt a bit thin too. Having to hand in the key every time we went out was kind of inconvenient. The location was superb, just a five-minute walk to kaihimmakuhari station, with two seven eleven stores nearby. The hotel also has an airport limousine bus to narita and haneda, which was very convenient. There's a designated smoking area outside near the entrance. We didn't have breakfast here, so can't rate it. We'd definitely come back if we're in chiba again. Thank you 🫶

Jan 2026: This place felt like a blast from the past, kind of an old-school Marigold Hotel. The room key is an actual key, not a card, and the furniture looks dated. The mattress sinks in, and each bed only has one small pillow, so the bed could use an upgrade. A double room has two single beds rather than one double. There aren't any YouTube or other English TV channels apart from CNN, and there's no bottled water in the room.

This was my second stay here. It's near Makuhari station, and my usual nest is Hotel The Manhattan, about 200m away. The area is very peaceful, with lots of places to eat nearby.

If you're going to a convention at the Messe, this is a great choice, though it's a long trip from Haneda. I was pleasantly surprised by how large my room was. It could use an update, but it still feels like good value and is well run.

There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and Mitsui Outlet Park is only a five-minute walk away. Makuhari Messe is about 15 minutes on foot, so it's handy for business trips and exhibitions. My room was clean and fairly spacious, with a balcony. The price felt reasonable for what you get. I'd recommend it to people visiting Makuhari for work or a trade show.
