The staff who handled our room were thoughtful. Even though we’d declined housekeeping, one of them spotted us in the hallway and checked whether we needed fresh towels. Getting around was easy, with JR, the metro and monorail nearby. Breakfast access ended at 9, and arriving at 9:05 with an extra breakfast fee didn’t help. We were told the buffet ran until 9:30, but we still couldn’t enter. Late checkout also cost ¥1,000 per person per hour. At check-in, there was no queue, yet the front desk attendant sent us to the machine, which didn’t feel very hospitable.

Being so close to the train station made getting around much less stressful. The staff were lovely, including an English-speaking person at reception, and the maids were especially kind and helpful. The microwave, ice machine, vending machine and laundry machine were handy too. The rooms are quite small, so lots of luggage could be awkward. Still, I was very happy with my stay.

The rooms felt too warm, and the style is dated. On the plus side, check-in went smoothly, the hotel is right by the JR station and shopping malls are close. Some staff were really nice and helpful when we needed assistance.

10/10
The rooms were a reasonable size and clean, and breakfast was a good option. With the JR station nearby, it was convenient. I’d be happy to come back if I’m in the area again.

The room and location were better than I expected. But the female front desk staff member working around 8am on Mar 4 was extremely rude. When I asked about an amenity, she gave me a dismissive look and an unprofessional response. It was disappointing.
