I stayed on Saturday, September 20th. The room was clean and nice, but after I left I realized I’d forgotten my Nintendo Switch 2 charging cord. I asked them to check, and they said it wasn’t there and told me to call again the next day. When I called, the staff member who answered was very confrontational. I was already upset about losing the cord, and their response made me even more annoyed. I’d been treated the same way on my earlier call, and the whole thing was unpleasant.

The rooms were modern, with indirect lighting and a nice atmosphere, and there were plenty of amenities. They had a decent range of cleansing oil, hair oil, and skincare products. There was a phone charger by the bed, but mine didn’t work. The in-room refrigerator is a vending machine, with free space for two or three bottles, and the air conditioning worked well. The entrance and front desk feel like a love hotel, while check-in works more like a business hotel. The building interior and elevators are a little dated. I called with a few questions before booking through Rakuten Travel, and the front desk staff were very courteous. I do wish it were closer to the station, but it was cheaper than my usual APA hotel, so I was very satisfied. I’d definitely stay again.

The room and bathroom were clean, and there were movie channels, so it was decent for passing the time. If you’re planning to use it as a love hotel, be aware that condoms aren’t provided. But I’m giving it the worst rating because of a female employee with truly terrible customer service. Reviews from nearly three years ago had mentioned her, and even counting all the unusual people I’ve met overseas, I’ve never encountered anyone quite like her. She seemed constantly furious, almost ready to get physical. There are chairs and other furniture in a waiting area at the back of the lobby, like in a typical hotel. I went in to wait for my companion, and a female employee in her 60s came out of the staff entrance and yelled, “Could you please not go in there?!” I explained I was staying there and meeting someone, but she rudely snapped, “Then wait outside! Don’t go in there!” Then I got a LINE message from my companion saying they were already in their room, so I asked if I could join them. The employee finally calmed down, and we met without any trouble. She never explained why I couldn’t use the seating area, so I still don’t know. It looked like an ordinary hotel waiting room, though perhaps it had some private reservation. In a situation like that, guests can’t know unless there’s a chain or a sign. Even if there was a reason they couldn’t put one up, that didn’t justify yelling “Don’t come in!!” right away. They’ve also promised for years to open web reservations, but still only take bookings by phone. Maybe that’s to avoid complaints.

The bathtub and bed are both spacious and comfortable. It’s a stylish, renovated love hotel, though the price is a little high. I’d like to stay again if I get the chance.

The hotel itself is nice, but the front desk service was disappointing. I’ve stayed several times, and the female night shift worker, probably in her 40s or 50s, spoke to people in a really rude, harsh, dismissive way. Her sentences always seemed to end with “💢” and “!!”. Seeing how she treated me left me feeling down. As a customer, I thought her attitude was that of an old hag, and something should be done.
