Kreutzer sits at 1500m in the Tateshina area and is run as a small family lodging. Its large terrace looks out toward the Central Alps, where woodpeckers and squirrels can often be spotted. The home cooking makes good use of home-grown vegetables, and the specialty is stew pie. There’s a piano in the dining room, and summer evenings sometimes feature music, including piano performances and live jazz concerts.

The guesthouse is tucked at the far end of the Tokyu resort area, with nature all around and a natural promenade that gives you a bit of an adventurous feeling. Everything was handled professionally, and I felt comfortable and refreshed.

We really enjoyed the trek and its lovely scenery, the special meal, and even watching squirrels feed at breakfast. It was such a nice time, and we had a great conversation about all sorts of things. Finding out that the owner had worked at the same company as my husband made it even more exciting. Thanks so much for everything the other day. We’d love to visit again. Thank you!
