Queen's Hotel Chitose

We arrived at CTS after 24 hours of flying and spent one night in the Japanese style family room. It was spacious, clean, and modern. The exterior decor had me unsure at first, but our stay at Queen’s Hotel Chitose went beyond what I expected. We decided at check-in to have breakfast there the next morning. There were Japanese and western options, plus a kids meal, and the food and staff were really welcoming. They also have a free airport shuttle. I'd come back, especially since it's much closer to the airport than Sapporo.

The Japanese breakfast was delicious and filling. The restaurant also serves a western option, and my mum and I chose the Japanese meal. We landed at New Chitose Airport after 8 pm, were tired, and didn't want to drag our bags to Sapporo, so staying one night at Queen's Hotel Chitose worked out well. The station is very close, and the hotel is easy to spot. There's also an onsen, a nice bath for travelers who've just arrived in Japan. It is small, though, and some showers were broken, so there was a queue.

Our room had a little couch, desk, fridge, and some nice bathroom products. It was comfortable for a Westerner, and the bed seemed bigger than a queen but smaller than a king. The breakfast was worth the $7, with the Japanese option my pick. The western one was meatloaf, which seemed very weird. We didn't have time to try the hot tub, though the clean room and loaner pajamas gave me a good impression. We were there for one night between Niseko and New Chitose airport. The train station is very close and made getting around easy. The airport shuttle is available, but they only let you take one bag, which wasn't enough for us.

Good spot, close to places to eat, though the nearest convenience store takes a bit of walking to reach. The lobby is beautiful, and the room is quite small, in what I assume is standard Japanese style. The receptionist can speak English.
