Hotel Reborn Nopporo

The room was clean and tidy, and the place feels fairly new. It’s right by the train station, which is convenient. The setup is basic, though: a small room, tiny bathroom, no desk, and just a simple bed with one pillow. Checkout is at 10 a.m.

The friendly staff made the visit especially nice. I went for the breakfast buffet, which starts at 6:30 a.m. and is open to non-guests too. There were unusual rice toppings, including butterbur miso and a sweet-and-spicy tuna stew, even by hotel breakfast standards. As someone who eats a lot in the morning, I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

With delicious restaurants nearby and Sapporo Station only a short JR ride away, the location is really convenient. Parking was easy, too. My parents live in Nopporo, and I’d felt unsure about taking my kids to stay with elderly people. Shin-Sapporo hotels seemed pricey and a bit far away, so this new hotel was a welcome find. It’s inexpensive, perhaps because it’s baseball off-season, and the staff are cheerful and friendly. The rooms were spotless. I can see this becoming a regular place for us to stay.

I don't travel much, so I was a little anxious about choosing somewhere to stay. I'm glad I picked this hotel. The restaurant staff member with four pigtails was adorable and so kind, and I had a good time at the nearby restaurants and izakayas. Nopporo itself is a lovely town. The room had enough space for one night and wasn't cluttered with extras. Sitting on the bed and finally relaxing felt great. Amenities are beside the front desk, so you can take what you need upstairs; shampoo and the like are in the bathtub. The front desk area and entrance are compact, with a simple, streamlined look. It's a very basic business hotel right across from Nopporo Station, and I liked how quiet it was. The staff were welcoming and very polite.
