Ryokan Ito

The setting was lovely, with the river running nearby and the hot spring's sulfur smell in the air. The homemade food had a traditional feel and every dish was delicious. I found the baths refreshing enough to go in twice. At dinner I asked for non-alcoholic beer because I'm pregnant, but they were out, which was a little disappointing. Still, this inn is run by a lovely couple, and I'd be happy to visit again. ☺

My husband and I stopped here on our way home after touring Chiran. It was peaceful and relaxing, and the food was both delicious and plentiful. We were very happy with our stay and would come back if we get the chance.

I'd been hoping to come after reading the reviews, and the food really impressed me. It was delicious and beautifully glossy. The bath was a comfortable size for my husband and me, with excellent hot water. Our room was a nice size and had its own toilet. We were the only couple there that day, so it was quiet and felt like a luxurious, relaxing getaway.

The inn has a traditional Japanese feel, and the owner's cooking was delicious, clearly prepared with care. The bath was small, but it gave me a quiet place to unwind. My room was clean, and I had a wonderful stay.
