The traditional-style room was a great place to stay for four nights. The bedding pads were by far the thickest and most comfortable I had during my whole trip in Japan. Breakfast each morning was filling and excellent, and the simple onsen was just right after snowboarding. It’s a 10-minute walk down the hill to the Goryu Escal Plaza base area. During ski season, a free shuttle can take you up if you don’t feel like walking. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Hakuba.

A friend in our group got very sick while we were here, and every staff member was caring and helpful. They also walked us through everything we needed to know about Hakuba, from lift passes to travel and other activities. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Mont Blanc, and the staff were so accommodating.

The location was quiet and just right, with a couple of places to eat within a five-minute walk. There’s a free scheduled shuttle each morning to Escal Plaza and a nightly run to 7-11. Breakfast was delicious every day. Huge thanks to the staff for all their help and for making our stay so memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. 🙇🏻‍♀️

Annis arranged discounted lift passes and equipment through Hillside rentals, and nothing felt like too much trouble for the staff. The nightly 7-11 trips were a bonus. Escal Plaza is a 10-minute walk away, and the daily ski shuttle stops right outside. Breakfast set us up well for a big day, and ending it in the onsen was perfect. We loved our stay at Hotel Montblanc. The team are amazing and always ready to go the extra mile. Highly recommend Hotel Montblanc in Hakuba!

There’s a bus stop for Escal Plaza right outside, so getting around was convenient. The service was kind and welcoming, and the food was warm and really filling. Our spacious, clean room had comfortable bedding and worked very well for warmth. We had a beautiful stay at Hotel Montblanc and highly recommend it.
