Nicholas made getting to and from our transfers easy, and was helpful with recommendations throughout our stay. From our room we could see the mountains and slopes, and the ski lift was only a minute's walk away. The rooms were spacious, clean and warm, with exactly the amenities we needed. This was our favourite ski resort stay so far. We’ll definitely return and would recommend the Lift Inn to family and friends. It’ll make your time in Goryu.
The mountain view from our window was beautiful, and Escal Plaza and the chair lift were each about a minute away on foot. For our first Japan snow trip, the room had all we needed for two, with a shared kitchen for guests. Nicolas, who runs the apartments, was kind, generous and very friendly, and speaks English really well. There was always brewed coffee, bread, sweets and snacks in the kitchen to help yourself to. I’d highly recommend this to anyone visiting Hakuba Goryu.
Best place and host!! The view is amazing. The host is basically a Doraemon, always keeping snacks stocked and coming to rescue us every day. 🧚🏼♂️
For our first Hakuba visit, we were lucky to find Lift Inn Hakuba Goryu. It’s across the road from the Goryu Gondola, main shopping plaza and public onsen, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. There’s a spacious shared kitchen, a drying room and laundry. Nicolas was really helpful before we arrived and during the stay. Would recommend it and love to come back.
Nicolas made the stay especially easy. He helped with our bags, gave us a lift, offered suggestions and even booked dinner for us. The spacious room, warm atmosphere, shared kitchen, laundry and Netflix were all good too. Escal Plaza is under two minutes away on foot, with the Goryu slope, food, rentals and main bus stop there. Lift Inn Hakuba will be our first choice when we're back in Hakuba, and we'll return next season. Fah
