This was the worst place. I’d booked through Booking.com and paid, but when I showed up on the day, the owner wasn’t there. They didn’t arrive by the check-in time I’d requested, and no one answered my calls or emails. Their cell phone was switched off too, and I couldn’t reach them at all. I waited until nearly 11 PM, with no luck. There weren’t any other places to stay nearby during Golden Week, so I had to drive an hour to Ishikawa Prefecture and find somewhere else, which was extremely expensive. I felt absolutely awful.

It was a lovely house, and the room was clean. The host prepared salad, toast, gratin, and other things for breakfast, with plenty to eat, and it was really delicious. This was my first time at a guesthouse, and I was very satisfied.

The host was very kind, and the room, bathroom, and toilet were all neat and clean. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but the WiFi in the room I was given was weak.

I thought the place sounded good after reading the reviews, but I had questions before my stay and couldn’t get an answer. I emailed them and got no reply, then called, but they weren’t there. It’s a shame that this was already a problem before I even arrived.

They picked me up when I was running late because of a live show. I just wish the bathroom and washroom amenities hadn’t all been other guests’ personal belongings.
