The breakfast was included and tasted really good, with Japanese dishes as well as simple Western choices. Rooms are small, but the bed was comfortable. The hotel is modern, very clean and high-tech, and the price is great for what you get. Check-in was easy, and the reception staff were helpful. They offer female guests some extra amenities at reception, and free welcome drinks on that floor, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. On-site parking is available for an extra charge.

The hotel is brand new, and they're clearly making an effort to keep guests happy. Downstairs there's a huge selection of pillows and amenities, all free. Our room even had a projector for the TV. The front desk man was incredibly helpful. He spoke great English and gave us a map, plus handwritten dinner recommendations and phone numbers for places in the area, without us even asking. The onsen was hot, and the lavender-scented shampoo, conditioner and body soap were the best I've used in Japan. The hair dryer was also the best I've tried here. I can't wait to have breakfast tomorrow, since everything else has been so good. Best value in Japan.

You can hear too much through the thin walls.
