If you’re going to the Yomitan area, book this hostel without a doubt. I stayed as a solo woman last spring, and it’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever been to. Ryota (houseowner) is a gift from gods, always ready to help with anything, and made beautiful breakfasts. His hospitality was incredible. The house is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and really beautiful in the rain. It’s also near the mesmerizing Blue Cave area. I met a lot of cool people there, and we’ve stayed friends. Much love from Turkey.

There’s a lovely terrace with a hammock, comfy beds, and a common room where people hang out and jam. You can play any musical instrument 🎸. The hostel is super clean, and it’s the best one I’ve stayed at in Japan. They provide free bikes, snorkeling gear, and laundry. Breakfast is free every day, delicious, and different each time.

I slept really well here, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Travelers get to know one another easily, and the breakfasts are excellent. Ryota-san’s place is close to the jungle and beaches, and his local knowledge made my life easier so many times. Staying here was one of the best decisions I made on my Japan trip. I do recommend renting a car, though. I’ve only been in Naha for two days, and I already miss Yomitan’s beautiful landscapes terribly. Thank you for everything, Ryota-san!!!

I wish I’d booked a longer stay. The host is really kind, just the goat. He makes breakfast every day and even packed bento boxes for us when we were heading out on a trip. It’s very cheap, with inexpensive car rental and bikes too. There’s a roof terrace as well.

Renting Ryota’s car was a no-brainer since it cost a fraction of what we’d pay at the airport. He was responsive and kind, and after we returned the car he dropped us at the bus stop. I really appreciated it, thank you!
