The noise from cars outside at night is the one thing that cost it a star, as another reviewer mentioned. It wasn't too big a problem, though, since the windows block a decent amount of sound, and that's part of having such an amazing location. The hotel is cosy, clean, and comfortable, with a well thought-out room and enough amenities. Staff were friendly and very professional.

The shower deserves 6/5 stars. It has several jets that massage your body as well as a rainfall head, and I found it really relaxing. The room was clean and bright, with modern decor, though I could have used more counter space in both the living area and bathroom. We stayed the first weekend of December 2022 for the Winter illuminations at Enoshima. Staying nearby was handy because traffic to and from the island can get pretty bad. All rooms face the parking lot, though, and the loud motorcycle exhausts on weekends carried on through the night and early morning. I slept through it personally, but it could be annoying for light sleepers. Front desk service was really good, contrary to some older reviews I'd read. I didn't have time to try the public baths, and walking over from the lodging sounds a bit inconvenient. If not for the illuminations, I probably would have stayed elsewhere. There aren't many modern places to stay at Enoshima.
