This is my second stay at Sun Palace, so I'd come back again. For the size, location, quality, and service, it was quite affordable. The room was decent, though it was extremely hot and had a stuffy, old-air feel when I arrived. The A/C sorted it out.

A decent business hotel. It's very close to the station and shopping centres, and the staff were helpful.

The short walk from Shizuoka train station and all the nearby places to eat make this a great value. The room's small, but well laid out, with a large bed that let me sleep well. The tub is short but deep, so it worked nicely for soaking after a long business day. There are two coin-operated washers and two dryers on the 5th floor. The dryers are pretty weak, though, and need a long time. 100 yen for 30 minutes isn't a good sign! For a two-star hotel, I was really impressed and would definitely come back.

They let us keep our bike inside the hotel, in the lobby near reception. Thanks for the warm hospitality. I'll definitely stay here again if I visit Shizuoka next time. 😊

Close to Shizuoka station, with lots of restaurants nearby. I really liked the hotel breakfast, and the coffee was good too.
