Sanco Inn Shizuoka Kitaguchi

The tea ceremony was such a memorable part of the stay, a lovely and tasty cultural experience. They also offered free drinks and snacks in the evening, and breakfast had a wide selection of high-quality food. The hotel was really clean, and check-in was quick and easy. Staff were very kind, helpful and always ready with a smile. Everything was better than I expected, and I have so many good things to say about the place. They could add a few more options for vegetarians and vegans. A must-stay if you’re going to Japan. 11 out of 10, and I’ll absolutely return!

It’s a clean, straightforward hotel close to Shizuoka station, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The laundry room is handy because you can check machine availability online before heading over, which is really efficient. The downside is that ambulances drive by often and make noise, even in the middle of the night. 😮‍💨

Breakfast was good, and the staff were nice. My room was spacious and looked out toward Mt.Fuji, but it wasn't clean. There was a lot of women's hair in the bathroom. Shizuoka Station is about a 10-minute walk away.

There were plenty of breakfast choices, and I enjoyed the meal. Shizuoka station is within walking distance. The pillow bar at reception works on a first-come, first-served basis, so when I checked in at 8pm, there weren't any left for me.
