Japanese Onsen Ryokan KOHAKUEN

The garden was small, peaceful, and clearly cared for, and the breakfast gave us little portions of traditional local dishes. The baths were roomy and mostly clean; the outdoor one had just been renovated, with a strong cedar scent and a view across the mountains. Our room was comfortable and clean, with its own bathroom and toilet. We found shops and restaurants a few blocks away, plus a convenience store within walking distance. Parking was close, though it was on a dirt road shared with buses rather than right by the entrance. We arrived very late after I got lost on unfamiliar roads and couldn't call for a couple of hours. Someone was still waiting for us and treated us kindly. My parents and I would come again.
