The hot spring water is really thick, and its color can range from emerald green to a milky white green depending on the day. The springs, food and service are top quality. The hotel itself looks a bit old, but don't judge it by that. We were lucky enough to see some monkeys visiting the hotel garden too. 🐒

The accommodation is excellent, with good beds and Western-style pillows, if you know what I mean. It's a very nice hotel, quite a way from Lake Chuzenji. The hot springs smell strongly of sulfur, though you do get used to it.

The outdoor onsen is gorgeous, and the room was cozy. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff were friendly, though their English was limited. A very nice hotel, and one I'd highly recommend if you're staying in Nikko.

I came in winter and it was very cold. The food and onsen were both nice, and the staff gave very detailed, good service. It feels private here, and I liked not having to wear slippers or shoes inside the hotel. It felt like home. The name on the front is Morino Hotel, and this place has only 23 rooms. Sorry for my bad English, I tried my best.
