It's quiet here, with only a small number of guests, so the private baths make it easy to relax without worrying. The food is excellent too. For the price, I'd highly recommend it.

The Japanese breakfast was delicious, and I had a quiet stay with no noise from the other rooms, which are well spaced apart. The landlady was kind and let me check in a little early. A foot bath nearby is also a nice way to warm up. In the inn's spring bath, the water can feel cold if you move away from the hot-water outlet, so I suggest staying close to it. The spring water itself was warm. Some people may be concerned about that, but with only three rooms, I don't think security is a major issue. I did have some security concerns: there was no key box in the room, and only one of the sliding doors was locked, while the other could be opened.

The entrance garden is well kept, so garden lovers may enjoy it. The building shows some wear, though the hallway temperature was comfortable with the air conditioning. The slippers in the hallway are small and might be uncomfortable if you have large feet. The bathroom was bright and clean. It had three faucets, one with a shower, but the water flow was low. Toilets are shared: there is one Western-style toilet, one Japanese-style toilet, several urinals, and two washbasins. It could feel a little awkward if you run into another guest of the opposite sex.

A great value inn, apparently run by the proprietress and her daughter. They both gave excellent service, and the plentiful breakfast was brought to my room. I highly recommend staying here.
