Tabist Hotel Nizi Fuefuki Misaka

The setting is pretty, quiet, and surrounded by fruit trees, but the location is what brought this down for me. Public transport isn’t especially convenient, there are few places to eat, and there’s not much to do nearby. The room itself was very clean and had lots of amenities. It felt almost like an apartment, with enough space to spread out, a sleeping area and a lounge area, and the bath and shower room, sink, and toilet all separate. The people running the hotel were courteous, helpful, and hardworking. I was torn between giving it three or four stars.

Such a cozy place, with Thai resort vibes. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, well lit, and smelled great. It had lots of toiletries and useful things like a microwave, fridge, fan, air purifier, and kettle, plus instant and drip coffee, ocha, and snacks. Outside was lovely too, with private seating, a little drink area, and a tropical-looking yard. The whole place is tastefully done, and the service was excellent for the price.

We had a comfortable stay here at the end of November 2022, and the price was hard to beat. The Chinese restaurant just down the hill, about a four-minute walk away, was excellent, though it’s closed Mondays. It’s called ‘Suzhao’. The place is a motel with separate rooms or cabins around a courtyard, so you can park right by yours. I’d heard it used to be a love hotel and wasn’t sure what to expect, but our room was spacious, with a good double bed, a great jacuzzi bath, huge Bose speakers, and excellent heating from a new unit. There were snacks, two free waters and two canned soft drinks in the fridge, plus a microwave, coffee and tea supplies, and an electric kettle. I’d read complaints about smells, but everything smelled fresh; there was just some older furniture. It felt cozier and cheaper than the more modern, faceless places.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a really nice atmosphere. We were surprised by how well equipped it was, including complimentary snacks and plenty of coffee, tea, and toiletries. The hosts were so friendly that they even joined us for dinner at a local restaurant, and we had a fantastic time with drinks afterward. We’ll definitely be back.
