My one-night stay was enjoyable. It's fairly close to the local rail station, very clean, and the staff made me feel welcome. There's a lovely park nearby with good views of Fuji-san.

The biggest problem was the door in the wall. I could hear the two men next door talking loudly late into the night, and earplugs didn't block them out. Noise-canceling earphones finally let me sleep peacefully. Since Super Hotel promises a good night's rest, I wish they wouldn't put me in Connect. Otherwise, check-in was quick and smooth, with a pleasant woman at the front desk greeting me politely. I picked my usual pillow and found the room clean and well equipped. The bath turned out to be a proper hot spring, apparently Yugawara Onsen. There were six wash areas, a lot for a business hotel for women, though the changing room and lockers were small. Breakfast had one of the best selections of side dishes in the Super Hotel chain. With a 7-Eleven across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby, the location was really convenient.

Breakfast was the letdown for me. The buffet felt limited, the rice was only so-so, the miso soup watery, and the kettle's hot water smelled of disinfectant, so I couldn't eat it. There were daily options such as meatballs and cream stew, but no sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, or fruit. The dining area was cramped too. I usually consider a buffet essential when I stay at a business hotel, but this one didn't work for me. At least the room QR code let me check how busy breakfast and the large bath were in real time. The rooms and bathrooms are compact, but the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the pillows and pajamas were nice. Rooms use a passcode, so take a photo of it at check-in if you go out. Otherwise, you might lock yourself out of the public bath if your phone is in the room, lol. The welcome drinks were great too, and some guests made themselves at home with food from nearby McDonald's and 7-Eleven. Thanks for your help.

There were several nice things here: the large bath has six washing stations, more than at other Super Hotels, and the women's bath had a ReFa shower head. I liked that there was no rotation system and the men's and women's baths were separate, so I could go whenever I wanted. The wasabi rice bowl at breakfast was delicious, and it was fine to wear the hotel's original pajamas to breakfast. The parking lot was spacious and easy to use. The welcome bar opens at 3 p.m., though it closes early at 8. I stayed during the September holidays in a top-floor room at the back under the Mt. Fuji View Room "Have Mt. Fuji All to Yourself☆" plan. The weather was poor, so I only saw a faint outline of Mt. Fuji, which was disappointing. But even with clear skies, new apartment buildings would block the view, so I doubt the "Have Mt. Fuji All to Yourself☆" promise would feel true. The view didn't match what I imagined from the plan page. Since Mt. Fuji was visible, maybe they should simply call it "Mt. Fuji View Room." The front desk staff seemed slow to come out when we entered, and we noticed the same with other guests. Even though our room wasn't on the road side, car and emergency vehicle noise often interrupted the good night's sleep a spa hotel promises. While writing this, I realized the hotel does guarantee sound quality, and I should have mentioned it: their website says they'll change the room if defects or other issues keep you from sleeping well, or refund that night's room fee if they can't offer a change, as long as you contact the front desk. Would I return? Maybe if the weekday price were lower.

The main drawbacks for a group are that you're spread across separate rooms and it can be hard to coordinate. We rented three rooms for five people. We've stayed at other Super Hotels the same way, and they've always been clean and well maintained. There's a large public bath, breakfast is included, and for the price the quality is good.
