Right beside the lake, the hotel has a peaceful atmosphere and a beautiful view. The room was in an old Japanese style but had everything a modern person needs. The first floor, with its big stained glass windows, felt cozy. Dinner was tasty, and breakfast had a small buffet with Japanese and Western food. There are public baths for women and men, plus a small private bath. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and there’s a shuttle to and from Kawaguchiko Station. It’s a very nice, well-kept hotel with the spirit of old Japan.

The Japanese breakfast that came with the room was delicious, and the view of the lake from my room was lovely. The hotel was clean and in a convenient spot for the Fuji Marathon in November. It’s kid-friendly, and the bikes were a fun extra. The public bath was clean and relaxing, too.

A rare place in Japan for a western-style wedding. The bride and groom could use the dance hall and party until 5-6AM during our DIY Europe style wedding. The hotel director was very helpful and clearly tries to make customers happy.

From the balcony of the Japanese room, the view of lake Kawaguchiko was so nice. It felt like a real break in nature, away from the city's excitement. The service was excellent, with workers always ready to help with any need, and the onsen was very nice. I recommend it.

We really appreciated how hard the staff worked to make things comfortable for us. Mum had a broken ankle and needed a wheelchair, and futon, the Japanese-style bed, was hard for her to sleep on. After we asked for help, they arranged a twin room for her at about 11:00 pm. The service was very good, and the accommodation was reasonably priced. The Japanese-style dinner was delicious, and the onsen was good too.
