Bluebird Hotel

The rooms are basic and a little dated, but they have what you need if you’re mainly here to explore. There’s air conditioning, a fridge, and a microwave, with a supermarket and local coffee shops within a five-minute walk. The location is handy, not far from the center or the lake, and the owner was helpful. They provide a free bike. If you’re reasonably fit, it makes getting around easy. Cycling around town and the lake was one of the best parts of my trip. I highly recommend giving it a try. Thank you!

BlueRock, the hotel’s new branch in Kodachi, is only about a five-minute ride from the main Hotel Bluebird. It has four main rooms, each with two Western-style rooms and one Japanese-style tatami room inside. One Western-style room and the tatami room have a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji, while the balcony on the opposite side looks out over Lake Kawaguchiko. It’s peaceful, with no traffic noise, and feels suitable for families with children or groups of friends. BlueRock can accommodate up to six adults, which makes it an economical choice for a family or group. I highly recommend it for a vacation stay.
