The room rate was reasonable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. When I asked where to eat nearby, they gave me a useful information sheet. There are many restaurants close by, and the hotel provided what I needed, including a towel, amenities and Yukata. I was lucky enough to see Mt. Fuji from the hotel. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from Kawaguchiko station if you enjoy walking. There’s also a shuttle bus, but I preferred to walk.

Some rooms at this Inn have a full view of Mt. Fuji, but from the one we booked, we could see about two thirds of the mountain. It’s okay if you have a car. There’s a shuttle bus if you don’t drive, but there are very few shops or restaurants nearby, which can be quite inconvenient.

The views of Mt Fuji are amazing, and this is good-value budget accommodation in a convenient spot. The friendly, helpful staff gave recommendations and made sure we had a good stay. It’s within walking distance of the main part of town and the major train stations and bus terminals. There’s also a free shuttle at set times. I’d stay here again if I visit the region.

The staff were really helpful, and the room felt spacious by Japanese standards. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the nearest station, though the hotel runs buses too. We had a great stay.

The view of Mt. Fuji from our room was fantastic. You can arrange the shuttle bus ahead of time, which saved us from dragging our luggage through the freezing cold.
